"Love Knows No Border" by Adrian

The drawing depicts a white American woman, and a brown Mexican man, embracing each other lovingly. The blood that pours over them is supposed to show how all of us bleed red and our place of origin doesn’t alienate us from one another. As well as a text in Spanish saying “todo nuestro sangre es rojo” (all our blood is red) which highlights this point. At the bottom there’s the title that reads “love knows no borders”. This is saying that love isn’t defined by the borders we’ve made. Love extends to all and we shouldn’t hold back just because someone is on another side of a border. I wanted to express my views on racism and show that no matter where you’re from, you’re human, you’re capable of love just like anyone else.
